A esthetic surgery known as Rhynoplasty, although it can also be carried out at the same time a functional surgery (Rhynosepticplasty) in which deviations of the nasal septum or other types of breathing obstructions are corrected.
The surgery should provide a natural appearance in men as well as in women and the change should be adapted to the type of the patient’s face. Occasionally, it is convenient to give treatment to other areas of the face as the chin, the cheekbones, the cheeks, the ears, etc.
For simple cases, the surgery is carried out generally with local anesthesia and sedation. In those cases that are more complex, general anesthesia is chosen. Both surgeries are very safe and they only require a half-a-day hospitalization.
